To clear the Read-only attribute assigned to Microsoft Office Access 2007 database so that you can enter data in the tables.
Clint, I suggest that you perform the steps provided below to clear the Read-only attribute of databases:
- Click on “Start” button.
- Click on “My Computer”.
- Locate the Microsoft Access database that you are facing the issue with.
- Right-click on the database name, and then click on “Properties.”
- In the “Properties” dialog box, clear the “Read-only” check box under “Attributes.”
- Click OK to apply the change.
Now you may open the Microsoft Access database without the message appearing again.
what if that method doesnt work?
